Bruce Brown, an electrical engineer with over 14 years’ experience, co-founded Brown Engineers in January 2006 with Dee Brown (no relation).
Bruce’s expertise as an electrical engineering consultant includes:
- Medium voltage motor controls, protective relaying, power generation and utility synchronization
- Fault-tolerant data centers and data bunkers
- Power distribution, automation, and control upgrades for water, wastewater, and industrial wastewater treatment plants
- Variable frequency drive and switchgear installations
- Generator installations for water, wastewater, and hydroelectric power plants
- Electrical engineering for water and wastewater utilities
- Arc flash hazard analysis and arc flash safety awareness training
- SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system installations and upgrades
- Selective device coordination and short circuit studies using EDSA and SKM
Bruce received his BSEE from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. He is a member of the Arkansas Society of Professional Engineers, the Electrical League of Arkansas, and the Little Rock, North Little Rock, and Arkansas State Chambers of Commerce.
