Mark Eakin is a mechanical engineer with over 30 years’ experience, with a strong emphasis in the planning and design of major campus and critical mission facility systems. He is the driving force and leader of our new mechanical engineering team.
Mark and Rick Geraci joined Brown Engineers to help meet the demanding needs of high-risk facilities including hospitals, universities, data centers, and treatment plants with zero tolerance for failure of their electrical, mechanical, or data systems.
Mark’s expertise as a mechanical engineering manager centers on primary building mechanical systems for critical infrastructure, including cooling systems, chiller plants and associated chilled water piping systems; boiler plants and associated steam and hot water piping systems; cooling tower systems; energy recovery systems; fire protection systems; automated control systems; pumping systems, and building information modeling (BIM) systems.
