Rick Geraci, PE, excels in explaining complex electrical engineering problems and designing robust critical systems
Rick Geraci, a licensed professional engineer and master electrician, has over 30 years of project management and active leadership in the field of electrical engineering. Rick joined Brown Engineers in 2010, drawn by the opportunity to focus his creative energies exclusively on solving electrical engineering problems in complex and critical environments. He works closely with Mark Eakin to lead our team on high-pressure, high-risk projects for mission critical systems at hospitals, colleges, data centers, and other facilities that require high standards for power and reliability.
In 2001, Rick was named Engineer of the Year by the Arkansas Society of Professional Engineers (ASPE), and was inducted into the Arkansas Academy of Electrical Engineers in 2006. This spring, Rick received the statewide 2009-2010 Distinguished Service Award from the Arkansas chapter of the ASPE. He also serves on the task force to the Arkansas Legislative Joint Committee on Educational Facilities, and developed the electrical standards used by Arkansas for all of its educational facilities. In 1994, he was awarded the IES International Lighting Design Award of Merit.
