Top UA Grad Scott Geurin, EI joins Brown Engineers
While interning with Brown Engineers in 2009, Scott joined our team on a complex and challenging controls system upgrade for a major water and wastewater utility client. Working closely with Chris Gele, our certified automation professional, Scott developed Human Machine Interface (HMI) graphics for the water and sewer system, comprised of 70 graphic screens and a 2200-tag database.
Now our newest electrical engineer, Scott will apply his talents in a wide range of electrical engineering subjects, including power distribution, communications, software-based and internet-based control systems.
After earning his BSEE with top honors from the University of Arkansas in 2010, Scott was awarded the prestigious National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship and Doctoral Academy Fellowship in 2010. This summer, he defended his thesis for his MSEE and found time to upgrade his personal status to Newlywed. Please join us in welcoming Scott to our team!
